Yes — any item that's labelled for dry cleaning only, or that we assess as unsuitable for machine washing (certain delicates, structured formal wear, some woollens and leather items), is routed to dry cleaning instead, to protect the fabric.

Yes, our process includes spot-checking and pre-treatment for common stains before washing. Very old, set-in, or unusually stubborn stains may need more than one treatment cycle, and in rare cases may not lift completely without risking damage to the fabric — we'll always let you know if that's the case.

Yes — alongside everyday laundry and dry cleaning, we handle shoes (sports, canvas, leather, suede), bags and wallets, curtains and blinds, blankets, quilts, and duvets. Just let us know at pickup so we can process them correctly.

Express turnaround is available subject to same-day machine capacity, at a premium over our standard rates. Please mention that you need express service at the time of booking so our team can confirm feasibility before you place the order.

Yes — CLEANISTA works with hotels and institutional clients on a contracted collection cycle (typically daily or alternate-day pickup with same/next-day return), in addition to our regular household and subscription services.

Yes, doorstep pickup and delivery is free within our regular Shibpur/Howrah service area for both one-time and subscription orders. The minimum order is applicable for Rs.200.

Wash & fold and wash & iron are priced per kilogram, while dry cleaning and specialty items (shoes, bags, curtains, blankets, etc.) are priced per piece according to our rate card. Our rates are benchmarked to stay competitive with other organised laundry services in the area.

For one-time orders, payment is collected at the time of delivery — please ask for an invoice for every order. For subscription customers, there's nothing to pay at delivery; it's simply covered under your active plan.

We accept UPI, cash, and card payments. Our delivery rider carries a UPI QR code and, where applicable, a card payment option at your doorstep — we recommend paying digitally where possible for a smoother, contactless experience.

Coloured garments prone to bleeding are identified and processed separately from the rest of the load, so there's no risk of colour transfer onto your other clothes.

We follow a strict tagging, sorting, and quality-check process at every stage — from intake through washing, finishing, and packing — with an independent second check before anything is packed for delivery, to keep the risk of damage as low as possible.

Every garment is tagged before it touches a machine, our staff are trained on fabric-appropriate handling, and each order passes through two separate quality checks before packing and a manager sign-off before dispatch.

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order details, and we'll look into it right away. Every pickup and delivery is counted and tagged specifically to help resolve such cases quickly.
